Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of Pathfinder
Pathfinder is an AI-guided thinking and strategy app. By creating an account or using it, you agree to these terms.

The service
What Pathfinder is
Pathfinder helps you discover, focus, plan, and review opportunities through guided, one-question-at-a-time AI conversations that produce written artifacts such as a Brief, a Build Plan, and an Impact summary. We provide the Service on an ongoing basis and may add, change, or remove features over time.
If you accept these terms on behalf of an organization that has a separate Master Services Agreement with us, that agreement governs and controls in any conflict for that organization's use.
Eligibility and accounts
Your account and credentials
You must be at least 16 years old and have the authority to enter into these terms. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Do not share your credentials. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
Plans and fees
Individual is free. Team is provided under a contract
- Individual is free to use, subject to fair-use limits we may apply (for example, a monthly cap on guided sessions). We may change the limits of the free plan over time.
- Team access is provisioned by us under a contract or invoice, and the commercial terms of that engagement govern that use. There is no self-serve Team purchase.
We may change our plans, limits, and fees prospectively. For paid engagements, any change to fees is governed by the applicable contract or invoice.
Acceptable use
What you may not do
You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You may not:
- Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, harmful, harassing, abusive, defamatory, or infringing purpose.
- Submit content that infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of any third party, or that you do not have the right to submit.
- Use the AI features to generate content that harms others, including unlawful content, content that facilitates violence or abuse, content that exploits or endangers minors, or content the Service or its providers otherwise disallow.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service, or reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive its source code or underlying models, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any usage limit, rate limit, security, or access-control feature.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as we permit in writing, or introduce malware or otherwise impair the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access we reasonably believe violates these rules.
AI output
AI output is not advice. Validate before you act
The Service produces AI-generated output. That output:
- May be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading, and may not reflect current facts or your specific circumstances.
- Is not professional advice. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional or business advice, and no advisor relationship is created by your use of the Service.
- Is your responsibility to evaluate. You are solely responsible for your decisions and for independently reviewing, verifying, and validating any output before relying on or acting on it.
Exercise your own judgment and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate. We are not responsible for actions you take based on AI output.
Your content
You own your content. We license it to run the service
You keep ownership of the content you submit, including your conversation inputs and the artifacts generated from them. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content solely as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service for you, and to comply with law.
We do not use your content to train AI models for use outside your engagement with us. See our Data and Privacy page for how your data is handled, stored, and shared. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to submit it.
Our intellectual property
The Service and its method are ours
The Service, including its software, design, method, content, and trademarks, is owned by Tiny Bottle AI or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service under these terms, and reserve all rights not expressly granted. You may use the artifacts the Service generates for you for your own business and personal purposes.
Third-party services
Providers that help run Pathfinder
The Service relies on third-party providers, including providers for AI processing, hosting, database, and email (for example Anthropic, Supabase, Amazon Web Services, Vercel, and Resend). Using the Service involves transmitting data to these providers as needed to deliver it, subject to their terms. The AI features are powered by Anthropic, and your use of those features is also subject to Anthropic's usage policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. See our Data and Privacy page for the current list and how data flows to them.
Suspension and termination
Ending access
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. We may also discontinue the Service or any part of it. Sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) survive termination.
Disclaimers and liability
As is, and the limits on our liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any output will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiny Bottle AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid us for the Service in the preceding twelve (12) months or US$100. Because the Individual plan is free, the fees-paid amount is $0 for free users, so the US$100 floor is what applies to them; for paid Team use, the fees paid under the applicable contract or invoice in the preceding twelve (12) months apply if greater. This limitation does not apply to liability arising from our willful misconduct, and nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tiny Bottle AI and its officers, members, and personnel from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
Changes and governing law
Updates, and the law that applies
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the version and the "last updated" date. For material changes, we may ask you to re-accept the updated terms before continuing. Your continued use after an update takes effect means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota for any dispute, except where a separate Master Services Agreement provides otherwise.
